素敵な文章

天満先生のブログに行くと、「TOEIC基本例文700選」のシリーズが
楽天でキャンペーンやってるそう。ポイント5倍つくんだって。
その天満先生のブログの記事はこちら。
一応、音声も聞いときました。
やたらとでる英単語もよさそう。例文が少なめだから、頑張ったら
年内で覚えられそうな。700選はやめかな。キムタツ先生の方は買うか。

昨日、電車の中でAsahiWeekly読んで、アグネスチャンのエッセーで
こんな文章をスラスラ書けたり、話せたらいいなぁと思いました。
東京五輪の開催についての記事で、特にこの部分。ちょっと長いんですけど
頑張って写します。内容がいいというか、自分の意見としても、こういうこと
言えたらなーと思いました。3回くらい繰り返しよみました。このあとコンビニ行って
この記事、コピーして、トイレの壁に貼ろうと思います。

One of the difficulties of a mature economy is the lack of inspiration and 
vision for a better future. Without a hungry spirit, people fail to fully utilize
their potential and instead of working hard, tend to be reluctant to give it
their all. Society becomes less vibrant. People look forward to personal
fulfillment instead of the common good. Teamwork becomes harder to attain.

Recently, Japan seems to have fallen into this pattern. People are content to 
keep what they have, and lack the motivation to better themselves. Yet we
know that staying put is actually falling behind, and Japan has been doing just 
that --- projects are delayed, and leaders blame each other when things
go wrong.

結局、昨日は家に帰ってから、Part6しかできなかったので、
これから、Part5とPart7とリスニング問題一通りやります。公式Vol3.のテスト２ね。
予想通り、今週のAsahiWeeklyも届いてたから、夜な夜な読みます。

風邪は8割復旧。もう少し。
